Keika Ramen in Shibuya

Keika Ramen is one of the very popular Kumamoto (Kumamoto Prefecture in Kyushu ) Ramen  restaurants located in the main cities in Tokyo.
Kumamoto Ramen is based on the soup with pork belly and bones. It is oily and richy.

Some people really like Kumamoto Ramen, but some people don't.
I love Kumamoto Ramen and Keika Ramen.


It is a Ramen restaurant so does not have a good atmosphere.

<Guide Memo>あの有名な桂花ラーメンです。好き嫌いはあると思いますが、熊本ラーメンの定番。
センター街にあり、立地はいいです。
ラーメンを食べたいゲストにはおすすめできますが、雰囲気は単なるラーメンショップ。
今はやりのお洒落なラーメンショップでもなく、昔ながらのラーメン屋です。
私は桂花ラーメンの大ファンなので、自信をもってゲストにすすめています。
新宿店もしかり。
連れて行ったことはありません。

The Pokémon Center is a specialist store for Pokémon goods, and can be found in 6 locations - Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Yokohama and Sapporo. 

The Pokémon Center Tokyo is located in front of JR Hamamatsu-cho station.

It sells games, cards, videos, DVDs, comics,clothes, accessories, bedding, sporting equipment, dishes, musical instruments, and toys!

浜松町から徒歩2分。平日はすいています。並ぶことはまずありません。

Hananomai Kokugikan-Mae

Hananomai is one of the biggest chain Izakaya or Japanese drinking restaurants.
It is not a so interesting place except for Hananomai Kokugikan-Mae.

Hananomai Kokugikan-Mae is located near Kokugikan or the Sumo arena and it has a Sumo atmosphere with its Sumo ring.

You can be on the ring, if you want.

A few days a week Sumo jink or traditional Sumo song is performed on the ring.

You must have a table around the ring, otherwise it is not worth visiting.
The table Reservation is available.
So don't miss the request the table around the ring.

It is an Izakaya therefore all the price are very reasonable.

This time I paid ￥4500 for my family (4 members).

＜Guide Memo＞単なる居酒屋です。
違うのは土俵があることだけ。でもこの土俵がとてもいい雰囲気を出しています。
土俵のまわりの席をとれるのなら、行く価値ありです。相撲甚句の日は、本当に楽しめます。
2度ほどランチタイムにツアーで使いました。個室になってしまったため、雰囲気は味わえず、今一でした。
禁煙席がないため、タバコがきになるゲストは、
どうしても個室をえらばざるをえないので、あまりおすすめできません。
とにかく土俵のまわりの席をとれればわざわざ行く価値のある居酒屋です。

Kawamura Ginza (Kobe Beef Restaurant)

Kobe beef is cuts of beef from the black Tajima-ushi or Tajima cattle, raised according to strict tradition in Hyogo Prefecture.

Kobe beef restaurant is very rare in Tokyo.
Kawamura Ginza is one of the restaurants which serves the highest class of Kobe beef.
It is absolutely my favorite restaurant!

The chef speaking English cooks right in front of you.

It has an elegant atmosphere.

Matsumoto Kiyoshi in Shinjuku

Matsumoto Kiyoshi is one of the biggest and popular chain drug stores in Japan.
It has about 760 shops all over Japan and sell drugs & cosmetics at reasonable price.
We call the store Matsu-Kiyo and are familiar with it. Matsu-Kiyo Shinjuku in located in Eastern Shinjuku, 5 minutes from Shinjuku Station on foot.
It is a bigger shop and opens 24 hours.

If you would like to buy cosmetics, go to Matsu-Kiyo and check items and the price.
You will be very happy with a wide variety of goods at a reasonable price.

Ninja Akasaka

Ninja Akasaka is one of the most popular entertainment restaurants and I strongly recommend this unique restaurant for foreigners.

The restaurant has the image of the 17th century Ninja house.

 Ninja house is very tricky like a maze, so let’s enjoy lose your way there!

You enjoy dinner in Ninja room behind the lattice door.

The food was prepared by Ninja on your table. It is fun!

Great Buddha (Daibutsu) in Kamakura

The great Buddha or Daibutsu is a symbol of Kamakura, which is an important cultural asset of Japan.

The statue was cast in 1252 and originally located inside the temple building. But the temple building was destroyed by tsunami. Since 1495 it has been sitting in the open air.

If you are in Tokyo, Great Buddha in Kamakura is must to see.It takes about one hour from Tokyo central station by local train.

Small Buddha donated by the people can be found on the precinct.
